Casting weight is only .75-2.5 oz
It’s described as a 10’ “surf” rod, but only has a .75-2.5 oz casting weight. If you’re looking to use a pompano rig in the surf, this may not be for you! Generally, you use 2-4 ounces of just sinker to hold your bait in place. Make sure this is what you really want before you buy. Otherwise, it seems well made. We will see how the reel holds up. Price can’t be beat though!
