Ideal to replace 10 year old smoke alarms

This alarm has the same base as the 10 year old ionisation type that were due for replacement, model 755SMA. So any marks on the ceiling left by the old alarm and the mounting holes align, this makes it a simple job to turn off the power and transfer the wires [including the interconnect wire] from old to new base.
