The perfect laptop
1 of 1 found this helpful I have bought about 10 of these for my two businesses and have found this particular model to hit the sweet spot in terms of size, speed, and quality. And since they are an older model, they are a steal!. The docking stations can be had for about $15 here on ebay, and the power supply cords for about $6.. I can outfit a new employee for about $200 which includes laptop, docking station, keyboard, mouse, and monitor. All bought used, all look and function brand new. I boost the memory to 8G (I buy the DDR memory kit from Crucial via Amazon for $38) to maximize the performance, but 4G is probably fine fore most people. So hard to believe you can get such a great laptop for so little money. I have no idea why anyone buys new ones as this model should meet the needs of nearly any road warrior. The only thing it lacks is an HDMI port, so I buy a VGA to HDMI adapter for $15 on Amazon and am good to go. The only thing this laptop would not be good for would be gaming since the video processor is not really designed for gaming. Other than that, do not hesitate to buy this as your main or backup computer!
