Battery was defective.
It is much better than I expected. The 4 instead of 5 reflects a bad battery. Since I purchased this to take pictures of two different items on separate cameras and purchased this because it was the same as the camera I am using. So I simply change the batteries from one to the other until the new one comes in. You really should have mentioned the battery...Honesty works..
