Nice knife, very high quality
2 of 2 found this helpful Knife lives up to the Hogue reputation of quality materials and build. Blade is centered when closed, zero play when open. The flipper mechanism on mine needed just a drop of oil on the pivot to open lightning quick. The blade comes quite sharp right out of the box; bevel on both sides is uniform and identical on both sides. May want to strop the blade just a bit to get it hair-popping sharp; your choice of course.

Rear sight portion works with takedown 10/22s
5 of 5 found this helpful Other fiber optic sights (i.e. Firesight) use a rear sight design that extends over the connection point on 10/22 takedown rifles. This rear sight does not extend over the connection point of the rifle, it is shorter overall than, say, the Firesight rear sight and other similar designs.

Great Magpul hardware, as users have come to expect
4 of 4 found this helpful The stock and additional riser cheekpiece are well packaged in the box, including each piece wrapped in plastic. Installation instructions and troubleshooting tips are well written, and illustrated clearly. Installation is the same as installing any other aftermarket stock on a 10/22 action, straightforward and intuitive. A hint, once the new stock is installed, go through the process again of reseating the front portion by loosening the locking ring, etc. This gets a good solid fit between the two parts with very little hassle. The stock works as advertised, with the front portion locking into the rear of the stock very sturdily. In fact, with the two halves locked together they will fit in the Ruger-supplied backpack in the stock pocket alone, leaving room in the other two long pockets for supplies, etc.
