Destroyed my battery
This controller destroyed my deep cycle marine flooded lead acid battery in 3 months of use. I have 4 charge controllers that look exactly like thus from various sellers and time periods from amazon and ebay. Normally the controllers charge up to 14.4v dyring high sunlight and it stays at 14.4 meaning the battery is full and solar power can be passed through directly to load, but thus one rapidly fluctuated volts blinking constantly 14.4 14.6 14.1 13.8 13.7 13.9 14.2 14.4 14.6 and kept going up and down back and forth constantly between 13.7 and 14.4 even with no load, meaning the battery was being incorrectly/over charged. I had to buy a new battery and this controller did the same thing to the new battery. When I put one of my other charge controllers that look exactly like this one on the new battery the problem stopped and the voltage was correct. This charge controller is defective and it may have something to do with not having the temperature control module the other ones have. This controller destroyed a less than 1 year old battery in 3 months.
