What a relief!

I have no complaint with this material. Every bit as good as the original.

Has the heft of my old Zeiss film cameras. Viewfinder was the clincher.

The learning curve on this superzoom is much steeper than on a similar Canon (SX520HS), but it may be worth it. This camera is considerably heavier than the Canon. The manual (comes on a cd) is crazy detailed. I figure that it may be worth the bother to master all the functions, but this camera would drive my wife crazy with its complexity.
