Working Musician Gives Handle A Thumbs Up
I needed a heavy duty handle for a road case that I was building for my guitar pedal board & Furman power conditioner. I was trying to find something that would be flush mount, and therefore, one that would not be bulky. With the combined weight of my completed case, and all of the electronics safely packed inside, the overall weight of everything was fairly heavy. I bought this handle, which was described as "heavy duty," and when I received it, I was very pleased with the "robustness" of it. I also ordered the mounting hardware that was advertised as a companion package to the handle (which included 1" long 10/32 machine screws) . As it turned out, for my project, I needed 1-1/2" long screws, which I ended up picked up at Home Depot. When I got the handle installed, I was very pleased with it. I think this handle was exactly what I was looking for (flush mount & sturdy), and I believe it will last over the long haul.

Don't buy this pedal.
0 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for a way to play our band's modified version of Hotel California in a live gig situation. Our version starts out as the "unplugged" Hell Freezes Over version, but later in the song we morph it into the more traditional electric version.
The idea of starting out on my electric guitar, but using the AC-3 Acoustic Simulator to get an acoustic sound seemed like a good way to allow me to get the correct acoustic sound in the beginning of the song and also to get the driving electric sound during the electric guitar solo.
What I experienced was that this pedal does not come anywhere near to simulating an acoustic guitar.
Other reviewers mentioned that they experienced a "crackling" noise sometimes when the pedal was active. I also experienced that sound at times.
I adjusted the knobs in every possible way, and found that there was very little difference in the sound that the AC-3 gave me as compared to the sound I get from my electric guitar when played "dry" without any effects at all.
I have a Boss DS-1 Distortion Pedal & a Boss CS-3 Compressor Sustainer. They both have worked very well in giving me sounds I need for playing Classic Rock. I wrongly thought that any pedal made by Boss would be good. This turned out to be a wrong assumption. My conclusion is that although Boss does make SOME good pedals, the Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator is a waste of money.

Good Product
I needed heavy duty "cam style," or "butterfly" latches for a road case that I was building for my guitar pedal board. I purchased a pair of these, and installed them. They are built solidly and are holding up well. In my opinion, these are easy to install, and are a good value, as well.
