ASUS Xonar DGX PCI-E GX2.5 Audio Engine Sound Cards With Amp Refurbished

Good, but with one caveat

Used this card in a machine whose onboard Realtek chipset stopped working. This worked a treat and can be used in a small form factor case with the included low profile bracket. It also has an HD Audio connector for front panel audio jacks. Windows 10 picked it up right way, and ASUS has drivers available to get a full control panel, which has plenty of features (effects, pitch shifting, karaoke/vocal reduction) and is straightforward to use. Unlike the similarly priced Sound Blaster Audigy Fx, this card can record 'Stereo Mix'. The stereo mix counts as an input device though, and this card can only use one input at a time so you cannot record from the line in/microphone and stereo mix at the same time. This may be a deal breaker for those who need to screencast and do not have a USB microphone.

Cheap, convenient, works

Bought this to charge a 6S drill battery. Worked well for that purpose. The included cables let you use alligator clips for both the input and output, which is nice since I didn't have to solder anything. I spliced a molex adapter to use a PC PSU to supply the charger with 12V. Hooked up my battery, set it to LiPo and it auto-detected my battery as 6S. Fairly intuitive to use without reading the manual. Just have to hold the start/enter button a few seconds to start the charging process after setting your parameters. The biggest complaint I've heard about these B6 clones is that the voltage readings are off. After charging my 6S cell fully with the device, my battery reads 25.1v under no load, which is just shy of the expected 25.2v.

Chop chop. Quick and easy.

Got a new phone and had to go from micro to nano. Slotted my micro sim into the included adapter, put it in the middle slot, punched down and out with a click came a nano sim. Edges were a bit rough, but it clicked right into place in my new phone's sim holder.
