Maybe Desmond's best album. What a combo with Jim Hall, Percy Heath and Connie Kay!

Chet Baker - Sings Plays at the Keystone Korner -2003 CD

Disappointing.

For whatever reason, Chet barely participated in this session, mostly limiting himself to some scat singing. The instrumental portions are dominated by Roger Rosenberg on sax with Phil Markowitz (piano) and Jon Burr (drums). Chet did some of his best work in the 70's and 80's, but not on this album.

Brings back memories. I attended Lebanon Valley in the 1960's when I lived in that area. Well written and very readable.
