Rock solid, great value, not just for wire racks.
2 of 2 found this helpful I’m seldom impressed by low cost stuff I by online or write reviews on it. These casters both impressed me and got me to write a review. The bottom of my 10 year old Weber grill rusted out and the plastic casters where about shot. Weber wanted $24 each for original replacement casters! Instead of getting hosed over like that, I welded new steel and standard 3/8” nuts to the bottom of the grill and threaded these casters into the nuts (included a relief hole in the steel bottom so the rod could thread all the way into the nuts). For $15 total for four new locking casters, I was back grilling! These casters are rock solid! The grill weights about 300 pounds with a full LP tank and I'd guess these casters could handle much more weight than that. The hard rubber gives just enough to really quiet it down when I move the grill around on rough concrete. These casters are way better than the original plastic ones that came on the grill. I will definitely be buying more of these casters for future projects. Might even make a dolly with these casters to bring my beer fridge outside for grilling. Cheers!
