It was a great addition to my XPS 8900. A tight fit but totally doable!

Seagate SV Drive is the best for suvellance
This is my second seagate SV harddrive that I have purchased for to place in a standalone security DVR. Now I have 2 seagates SVs in the same DVR. I had read somewhere that this drive will operate much quieter than most others and when I removed the non seagate SV and replaced it with this one I instantly noticed that the harddrives together did operate much quieter than the other non seagate paired drive. I operate 9 high resolution cameras recording in H264 around the clock with and these drives is supposed to be built for such use as this. I cannot attest as to whether or not all seagates operate this quiet but the SV drive has proven to me that it stands up to its name for quietness and also reliability.
Additionally; I placed the first seagate SV drive into my DVR over 5 years ago and I have not had a moments problem with it. I would recommend this drive for installations that require constant use of a hard drive, such as suvellance DVRs. Yet, if it holds up that well for tough services like security cameras then placeing it into a computer should be a non-brainer. If I ever need a drive for any of my computers I think I will look first at the seagate line.

Mini DSLR
1 of 1 found this helpful This was a great purchase. I now grab this little camera to place in my pocket for those times when I "might" need a camera because cell phone cameras have not reached the low light quality that I desire yet. Good battery life and I love the in camera guide. I wish all cameras had such a guide.
