Great value in a limited application
These monaural phones are used with assisted listening devices for churches, auditoriums, etc. They work very well in this application. At this price it is practical to have several spares on hand.
They should not be used with stereo devices since the monaural plug will short out one channel.

Essential backup for hand-held radios
If you can't recharge your radio's battery, what do you do? A battery case and a box of AAA alkalines is the answer. A quick battery swap and you're back on the air. If you don't have battery cases for all of your hand-helds, you're wrong.
