Firefly - Complete series on Blu-ray
3 of 3 found this helpful About the show; this is a great show. I love it. I wish that they hadn't canceled it so early. Now, about the product itself; I own both the DVD version and now the Blu-ray. So I decided to do a little side-by-side comparison. The Blu-ray, though somewhat sharper when playing, was quite grainy compared to the DVD, especially when paused. The DVD's lower resolution, although up-converted by the DVD player, allowed for a softer picture. My guess is that they really didn't do much for the Blu-ray when copying it from the master. So you end up with a slightly sharper but grainy image.

Seems decent. Had some warps in it so it didn't close right. Surface is NOT smooth as it says in the description. Has a slight texture.
