Worth the $$.
2 of 2 found this helpful I only hook up my vacuum 2 times a season since using the blaster. This is my second one. First lasted 5 years. I sold 5 or six after telling pool owning friends at my restaurant. They actually thanked me for the tip. Last week one asked why I kept it a secret from him. Haha. Ps. I cut my filter backwash down 75% since all that stuff on the bottom of the pool is in the blaster and not the main pool filter
