Too light for industrial or job-shop duty, but just right for the individual with farm and cord wood work..
2 of 3 found this helpful Good: Delivery on time. Adjustable angles and stops to match any saw chain sharpening spec. Structure is strong enough to prevent deflection when grinding-resulting in very sharp cutting edge. Includes set up for grinding rider height. Adequate power, low vibration.
Not so good: Instructions are okay, could be better. #72 chain data does not match Oregon square chisel skip tooth grind shown on box, (even though this grinder is supplied through same company?). Max. tilt from vertical is 45 degrees, but scale goes to 40. Just enough tilt to match the Oregon square chisel tooth profile. Profiling 1/4" grinding wheel for rider set up is a very slow process.
