Great little desk and chair
1 of 1 found this helpful Quality parts through-out. Assembly instructions very clear and easy to follow. All pieces were nicely packed in the box and clearly marked. Was completely assembled in about 25 minutes. Very easy to assemble. Once assembled, all features functioned properly, height adjustments take a matter of seconds. Desk top is very sturdy with nice smooth surface. The raised lip on chair-side edge is great feature and acts as a stop for books or papers when top is angled. Slide out tray moves nicely on it's rails, no binding or jamming. Tray itself is partitioned and just the right size for storing pencils/pens, and will hold a nice quantity of papers. My son says the chair is more comfortable than his chair at school, so I was happy to hear that. Still, the chair seat and back are made of hard formed plastic, so a thin padded seat and back cover might be a nice add-on. All-in-all, excellent quality, very durable, made to last. I fully expect to hand this down to a niece or nephew in the future, so I was glad to see the Gray color option. Gray will blend with almost any color scheme so I don't have to worry about the "blue/pink/boy/girl" thing. I highly recommend this Vivo desk and chair.
