- d***n (1752)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThe item is everything the listing promised and I could not be more happy with this seller. Mike provided the kind of service one would hope for when purchasing a higher ticket item. He went above and beyond with great communication, keeping me informed at ever stage of the shipping process and even writing me a note to congratulate me on my new watch. I would buy from Mike again without a second's hesitation.

Feels cheap
Very light. Feels plastic-y. Crown doesn’t screw down and feels loose. Rubber band just feels cheap. Very disappointed with this watch; the full-time lum aside, I’d rather have a good G-Shock.

For me, a better daily wear than Speedmaster Pro
3 of 3 found this helpful Speedmaster Pro has a horological history matched by very few, but it can be a tough daily wearing watch. For my own personal needs however, the Speedmaster Racing carries over the same lineage, but adjusts in areas that make for a better experience of wearing daily. The 40mm case is easier to wear, the movement is automatic and chronometer-grade, it has a date complication, a higher water resistance level, it comes in a variety of dial colors, and the price is still more palatable than the Pro.
While nothing will ever match Speedy Pro's history and importance to the watch community, the Racing line fits the bill for me in what I need in a watch.

My Favorite GShock
This is probably the best analog/digital GShock ever made. Gold-tone steel case and bracelet are very attractive and unique for the brand. The little hint of red on the dial and hour hand make for a sporty look. Inside, it's packed with top features like the radio-updated time, solar charging, and all the bells and whistles typical of higher-end GShocks (timers, stopwatch, timezones, etc). If you've every owned one before, using these features is simple. The LED light is bright enough to substitute as an emergency flashlight. Incredible.
It doesn't wear nearly as big as a lot of GShocks do. It's heavy because it's all steel. Very solidly built, classic GShock toughness.
It's also a near-exact replica (materials notwithstanding) of the brand's first ana/digi watch from the 1980's, so you've got the good history element with this too.
You cannot buy a better watch in the $500 range.
