The Best Charcoal basket
1 of 1 found this helpful I made a UDS and needed a basket. I didn’t want to make my own and started looking. I found this one. Before I purchased it I thought price was a little high but as soon as I received it it was worth every penny. The basket is made very well. Welds are done nicely and the steel is a good thickness. Heavy and solid. The ash pan at the bottom works well and sits at a good height. Perfect distance from the cooking grates. Hold a great deal of lump charcoal too and If I decide to make another UDS in the future, this is the basket I will be getting. Highly recommend.
