Bad axles and cams.
I purchased this at the end of last season and was very excited. Yes it’s very fast and powerful. BUT after only about 2 dozen arrows through it, the string popped and lashed me in the face 1 inch below my eye. It definitely stung but I was fine. I happened to be at my local archery shop and the owner saw the whole thing. Okay no problem, maybe it was a fluke I thought. Barnett covered the cost of a replacement strings and it sighted in fine (although I was nervous shooting it). One month later, after returning from an unfruitful archery hunt, I put a full size arrow in to release it and SNAP!! The string blew apart again! Luckily it was not up to my face.Now Barnett is replacing the axles, the cams, and the strings. Clearly, if I knew this was going to occur, I would have purchased a different bow.

Great sound.
1 of 1 found this helpful Sounds great!... much better than my old one that froze up in the cold. My only complaint is the spring-action "lanyard" that comes with it. While walking through thick woods during late season, the caller fell off the string. I had to back trace my steps. It was the first time I wore it. Maybe I did not have it on securely enough, but I believe it is a design error. Aside from that the caller seems great. Only time will tell.
