An Inspiring Story of Courage and the Will to Persevere
Prisoners of War in Vietnam had a hellish experience and, when I served there in a infantry division, we were advised never to surrender. I've read, Lance Sijan's and Jeremiah Denton's books and just found out about "To Hell and Beyond" from a friend. It's a compelling story about a man's will to overcome any adversity. It's simply inspiring.

They're Better Than the Photo
They are much better than the photo indicates. The rosewood is much darker and the checkering is very crisp.

Very Nice Rosewood 1911 Grips
The grips has crisp checkering and the fit was superb. They're better than I thought they'd be. I didn't use the brass grip screws as I found they were a bit garish on a blued 1911. Black screws would have been better but this isn't a deal killer.
