A great extension for my auger

It was the right one for my auger and was put to use immediately drilling footings down to 1 metre. It did a great job.

Overall, I believe it is very good value and can complement a solar power installation, able to supply power when there is wind but no sun.

Pros: This is a well designed and made product that works very well. Considering it's low cost, I was surprised at how well it works. I can't say how long it will last as I installed it just a week ago, but it appears so be well made so I expect it to last a long time. Cons: Even though the generator is supposed to produce 400 Watts (when the wind is 48 Km/hr), the controller that came with is has a maximum rating of 20 Amps, so the most you can get from the overall system is 240 Watts (for 12V system). The supplied documentation is very basic and there is nothing about the 2 LED's on the controller. Overall, I believe it is very good value and can complement a solar power installation, able to supply power when there is wind but no sun.
