Okay if constantly plugged in

I purchased this reconditioned. With the initial purchase the battery lasted about 4 hours after a full charge. It appeared to even drain when Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were shut off and when in the sleep mode. The Seller gladly replaced the battery for me (great customer service!) but the new battery doesn't perform any better and, in fact, it looks like it might be draining even faster. Having never been a member of the Apple cult, I only reluctantly purchased the iPhone since it is the only Smartphone that will interface with my hearings aids with the functions I needed. For those functions it works well and as long as I stay near a plug-in outlet I can use the phone for that purpose. If your are purchasing the phone as a hearing aid interface I might recommend it as it is still cheaper than buying a separate volume control and/or streamer from a hearing aid manufacturer, But as a Smartphone that you can take on the road away from a plug-in power source, it is deficient.
