Borth speakers were OEM equipment with no visible damage and they both worked.

Replacement DVD ROM Navigation GPS Player won't work
After spending $509.00 at the Honda dealer for them to run a "durability, AC and Electronics test to find out they "Recommend replacing DVD Navigation unit to start". I purchased this DVD Navigation unit to replace the original one. I installed it and still could not get navigation screen to come on. Went back to dealer to if they could find out what the problem was. After spending no more than four minutes looking/checking replacement unit they found that a small plastic " was broken off on the right-hand side of access door when door is opened. Luckily, I wasn't charged for this! I will be retuning unit and hope it can be repaced with a functional and usable replacement.

After doing some research on this part for my truck I found it was the only available after market part that would fit my truck, a 2000 ford Ranger. This part is made of plastic just as the original part and it will most likely crack/ break again. There are aftermarket similar parts out there that are made of steel that more than likely will never break. Problem is, is that these are made to fit 2004 and up models and they are priced around the same price I paid for the plastic one.
