Great workbench AC VTVM and audio/RF preamp for use with 'scope!
This AC voltmeter, in addition to having wide bandwidth and a switchable 100 kHz low-pass filter, is a great workbench adjustable preamp. Need more 'scope sensitivity? Just connect this unit to the device under test and connect your 'scope to the rear panel output banana jacks for a nominal 1 volt output. Also works as an audio preamp for use as a signal tracer. Note: after many years the switch contacts do get oxidized. A quick shot of a safe-for-plastics contact cleaner was all it took to bring this one immediately back to perfect functioning. Highly recommended ! Mike/

New Life For Vintage Amateur Radio Receivers
Now in retirement from a life-long career in broadcasting and broadcast engineering, I've returned to my ham radio roots, repairing and restoring great old tube-type Amateur Radio equipment. Dozens have gone across my workbench in the last few years -- and most require one or more replacement tubes. Having recently worked on a number of the most-popular-at-the-time Hallicrafters and National receivers, my garage stock of 6SG7 tubes had become completely depleted. I made several purchase of replacement ones here on EBay, including two from this vendor. They tested quite well on my Hickok 600A tube checker, and each did its part in bringing a vintage receiver roaring back to life.

Amphenol plug is the perfect solution if you have a socket that needs one !
Amphenol plug is exactly what I needed as the jumper plug on the back panel of a Ten-Tec Argonaut 509 transceiver that I've just finished restoring. Perfect fit -- just right !
