[REFURBISHED] MSI GeForce RTX 2060 VENTUS GP 12G OC Graphics Card, VR Ready

Great upgrade from a GTX 745.

This MSI refurb arrived looking brand new and came in an original box with protectors on the output ports and PCI connector. Performance is great, replacing a GTX 745, and easily drives my new 4K monitor. This is a pretty big card. Check directly on the MSI website for correct product photographs and dimensions. However, I was able to stuff it into an HP Envy 750-170se that was already a bit souped up and had a 700W PS, with only a little expected surgery needed at the back of the case for the double slot size. Specific to my motherboard, I did have to create and use a tiny hacksaw to cut my DIMM slot levers, as the little handles were in the way of the card fully seating into PCIe. Along with the obvious upgrade to graphics capability, I'm also quite pleased with the performance boost in my programs that utilize GPU acceleration. My only minor complaint, not enough to drop a star, was lack of any padding in the rather large shipping box, allowing the product box to bounce around substantially. Luckily the product box itself has snug shaped foam.

Good concept, comes with instructions, looks nice and installs well. Two issues - the large gauge (speedo and tach) printing is not perfectly precise especially in the vertical, so does not exactly match up to my factory 99 GT cluster face. Thus, you have to fit placement to a compromise 'best' spot for the backlighting. I also don't like the red printing in lieu of more clear. The factory face already has red back tint, so now with double red the backlighting really doesn't shine through.
