1 of 1 found this helpful first time buyer. would have been nice to know you needed a tool to cock it. takes both hands and im a big guy to squeeze springs down. would have needed a 3rd hand to set trap. watched a video from another site that showed a cocking tool. ended up using a big flat bladed screw driver and levered it down and set it. the length of chain could have been longer also. ended up tying piece of rope thru chain and around a deck 4x4 to hold it in place. other then that worked like a charm. would have gave 5 stars if more detail would have been given on product and that a cocking tool is required or optional.

don't waste your time or money
bought this off ebay posting " saying new , bought from newegg " hard to say new when the manufacter date says 2008. bought to replace old iede drive that died in a old pentium 4 computer. figured it was a remanufactered drive. it looked in good shape but was not in a sealed bag like new would have been. drive fired up, was quite, loaded operating system up and then 4 hours later died. from what i have read from other postings on refurbs this seems to be the norm. only item i have bought off ebay that was a waste of money.

Amana ignitor
its a great price on a replacement part if your brand furnace ( mines Amana ) uses it for a ignitor. was same as the spare i had on hand , even packaged the same .
