You gotta find a pair of these Japanese Glass Vortex HD Viper's
OMGosh these are the BEST binoculars for any price point under $1000. Beautifully designed, this Japanese glass is built to impress. To get the Japanese glass version (Chinese glass version is sold in U.S.A.) you must purchase from the U.K. or Far East. Only a few have made it to America. Well worth your effort and you won't be disappointed in the $500-600 investment. No other binocular comes close to the Viper VPR-3208-HD until you invest around $1800

Good for a 2-3 year old, but definitely cut the string (neck strap)
You get what you pay for when it comes to binoculars. The quality of these are very low. However I wasn't expecting much. I simply wanted a "starter pair" for my 3 year old daughter since everyone else in my household has their own pair. Now she is not let out. In a year or so (if she shows interest) I'll invest in a "real" pair. These are truly a "toy". WARNING: the so-called neck strap is simply a string. I cut it off since it supposed to go around the neck. Obviously there was no concern for stranglation when these were designed...and especially since they are for children....WTF.
