I had an AcuRite unit for 15 years, only had to change batteries a few times, it finally lost a wind direction fin and stopped working. Have had the new LaCrosse for less than a year and it stops working about once a month, change batteries and some times it works again in a day or so. Gonna throw it in the trash and buy another AcuRite. Never another Lacrosse product.
