Sharp Electric Digital Dual Alarm Clock Battery Backup LED Large Display Snooze

Hot to the touch.

I plugged it in during the afternoon and set the time. When I went to bed, I was going to set the alarm. When I picked up the clock it was very hot to the touch. Then I noticed a smell coming from it. It smelled like burning plastic. It worried me so I unplugged it. I did not want to wake up the clock being on fire. I let it cool then threw it in the trash. I went online and that is when I saw other reviews that talked about the clock being hot. I wish I would have seen those before I bought it.
