Perfect title for a comprehensive book on baking.
Wonderful pictures with step-by-step illustrations and detailed explanations for each recipe. I'd like to cook my way through it like Julie Powell did with Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Every recipe sounds and looks yummy!

Church History in Plain Language
3 of 3 found this helpful Shelley does an excellent job of bringing 2,000 years of history into a readable and understandable form. Although each section is preceeded by a "time-line," I felt lost when information was presented, then information which happened at the same time is covered later but not referenced as occurring at the same time. A more in-depth time-line would have been exceedingly helpful in terms of helping to put history in order. Overall, however, I learned a great deal from this book.
