UP THERE WITH FIREFLY - PREMATURE DEATH
9 of 9 found this helpful Yet another casualty in the long line of intelligently written and acted SciFi sent into the endless black. If you want imaginative scripts, engaging characters, ENDLESS WONDER... this is it. A thinking person's show that should never have been cancelled. Perhaps there were dynamics working in the background to which we are not privy that caused the demise. Why would a network cancel the biggest hit they ever had? Should be reinstated immediately. Thank goodness for all the extra bonus material. It gets you through the binge withdrawal.
If you like zombies, chainsaws, blood and guts, this is NOT that. If you really enjoy spectacular fantasy and all of the side stories going on with the characters, this will scratch the itch. Really great ensemble put together for this show, and the actors speak about the chemistry of this in the commentaries.
Just wait 'til you find out who H. G. Wells really is!
