- 3***i (169)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseWe had an issue with the package being sent. We worked it out and he send me a couple of extra specimens which I thought was great. Specimen was as pictured. Will buy again from this seller.
- 8***f (282)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseI am very grateful to Midland Rockhound for their thoughtful answers to my many questions about turquoise. And after all their answers, they still said that if I had any doubt about the authenticity of the turquoise, they’d be happy to cancel my order. The stone arrived quickly and securely packaged. And it is so much larger and more deeply blue than anticipated! Remarkable, since most mineral photos on eBay exaggerate the size. I highly recommend Midland-Rockhound for honest personal service!

The item arrived well-packaged and was exactly as described—Natural Chrysocolla, Malachite Copper Ore Mineral Specimen. It's incredibly fun to look at! I highly recommend Seller to everyone; Midland_rockhound deserves an A+++ rating!
- _***o (114)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI won the bid on 3 separate items on 5/27 no movement toward shipping and seller is ignoring my messages. Incredibly unprofessional and to date the worst buying experience I’ve had on eBay. Would love to receive the items I PAID FOR. Terrible unprofessional and unreliable seller.
- k***n (656)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe seller sent a completely different specimen than the one pictured. It had none of the claimed mineralization as verified by a calibrated Ludlum model 18 and 2” NaI-Tl scintillator. What was sent was arkose with X. Paietina lichen. When I requested a refund the seller offered a single penny and demanded I revise my negative feedback. Well. Here it is. Fully revised.Reply from: midland_rockhound- Feedback replied by seller midland_rockhound.- Feedback replied by seller midland_rockhound.I am very sorry to hear about your negative experience, but you have been standoffish from the beginning. Please provide your credentials and faculty position at your academic laboratory-as running genomics analysis for species identification would require this. I will gladly look you up and learn from your work. I can send you links to peer-reviewed articles reporting that naturally occuring U mineralization may not be detectable by Geiger counter depending on distribution in the sample/matrix.
