More than worth its massive footprint
This is my favorite wah pedal. It has every feature I can imagine wanting. It allows a choice of spring or button activation, with a delay assignable to the spring so as to prevent the wah from switching off at an inconvenient moment. It's very adjustable, with level, Q, and range controls. It's got a setting for bass (or a 7 string).
I love being able to just step on it and apply wah to a quick phrase, and I prefer a subtler, less resonant type of sound. This pedal lets me dial in exactly the wah sound I like, literally lock it in, and then have that sound immediately available at all times.
The drawback to this pedal is its size. It clearly dates from the time when the manufacturer was not concerned about conserving space on a tight pedalboard. Some mini pedals are helpful in taking advantage of the space to the right of this pedal.
