This gem box is a good value
Solidly built. Top fits well on body of piece. Jars fit snugly in their foam cushion. Seems carefully made.

If you like fashion docs, you'll probably enjoy this film
"Unzipped" is an insightful exploration into the professional and personal life of (formerly) top NYC fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi, including its tumultuous ups and downs. The film doesn't glamorize the fashion world, but neither does it poke fun at it. The editing is creative, and Mizrahi's story unfolds in a compelling manner. Unfortunately, Mizrahi went out of business a few years after this doc was produced, which in itself might serve as a cautionary note for those considering an entrance into the frenetic, fickle and rather cutthroat world of fashion design and haute couture. My only criticism of the film has to do with its gimmicky overuse of jumping from B&W to color and back again. However, it does a masterful job of presenting, at the film's climax, a synoptic version of Mizrahi's runway show that provides some the actual show's pace, energy and sheer fun.

Not your average film, and not for average viewers
An intentionally strange and mysterious film that most viewers will probably not understand or enjoy, precisely because it is not meant to be "understood" in the conventional sense of film narrative. Its characters are nameless, and time and space are fluid. The locations are eerie, yet beautiful, and the cinematography is superb. In French with English subtitles. Anyone who regards film as art should see it at least once.
