Useful when needed
I bought it to test our building's CO monitor, but not enough CO came out of the can to activate the monitor. The monitor is new so I presume it works. The can is supposed to have enough for several tests so I didn't use the whole can. I believe it is the only CO tester on the market so I have to recommend it, and it is not expensive.

Replacement CO Detector/Controller
This is the recommended replacement for our building's 10 yr old Macurco detector. We assume it will work well. As to installation, the wires connecting the old detector were not labeled so it took time to determine where to connect the wires in the new detector. Otherwise, installation was straightforward. The product manual is printed in very small type, so enlarge it on your copier or download and reprint the manual in larger type.
