Authentic ~35 year old Carrera's which are very fragile
Cons:
I have bought these in the past and they were made around 1982 and the problem is if you try to get lens put in they will break. I have tried an online lens service and a local reputable optical shop and because of the age of the plastic they break easily.
Also the online store charged an extra $20 because of the shape of these and the age.
If this pair had original Carrera lens already in them the total cost of $90 is well above what I paid for the one I got with real lens that I tried to have prescription lens put into.
I paid $19.99 for one pair and $27 for the other. So unless you want to take a chance at wasting about $200 when you try to get lens put it I suggest you look for a pair with lens in them.
Without their lens this pair is only worth maybe $20-$25 in my opinion. Plus I actually owned an original pair of these that sold at Pearl Vision in 1982 and they were only $59 then.
Pros:
These are authentic Carrera's which you can tell by the stamping on the frame. There are China knockoffs that are very similar to these but these are real (which could also be considered a Con because that makes them ~35 years old)
I am including examples of the 3 pairs I had and what they look like now. I actually tried to glue the 3rd pair back together but to no avail, picture number 1
