Give your HT more reach.
The Mirage B-34G amp is a great way to add power (without extra heat) to your little handheld 2 meter transceiver. Four watts in gives around 35 watts out so hitting local repeaters is assured. If you want to try a local simplex contact, turn on the amp's receiver preamp. Plugs in to your vehicle's 12 power.

Rare Goodman recorings
1 of 1 found this helpful For me Benny Goodman's trio and quartet work was by far his best. His band was excellent, but the players were much better showcased in small groups. The recording quality is somewhat primative compared to a more modern approach. It sound like the mike was across the room rather than directly above. But the music represents some of the very best "swing" ever produced.
