here is what i learned.
I've built a few of these kits back in the early 90s, and restored a few recently (built years ago by others) that fell apart. first of all, use extra-thick super glue for assembly, not that non-toxic model glue they make for little kids. secondly, you really need to take the time to carefully scrape the chrome or paint off the mounting surfaces of the parts before glueing them, otherwise they will just fall right off trust me. thirdly, i like to assemble the entire lower engine assembly before painting anything and spray it as a unit. that way your engine will not only look neater, but will be stronger too. use reference pics on google for the final details. the more time and care you put into it this kit, the more reward you will get from the finished product.

Great Boots with a Learning Curve
These boots are so comfortable and warm. The only thing is, they have a learning curve when it comes to the fit. I'm a 7.5 in sneakers and these feel like sneakers but I assure you the fit is for a boot. As in, they run a full size to size and a half small. I ordered the 8.5 after much research and at first I thought they were too small since I couldn't get my foot in but then....I realized that the lining was sliding down when I pulled the boot on. So, I grabbed the inner lining and pulled up and Voila! A perfect fit! I hope this helps. They seriously feel like just your average comfy sneaker. Grip on snow and ice is great and I'm a total spaz so that's saying a LOT! Then when I take them off my socks and jeans are dry and I'm a happy Panda!

michaelplatypuss tells you to buy these!
i got mine from "Semijoe" on Ebay. - finally, here is a large, aggressive off-road style tire for the tamiya 1/14 scale trucks. - super stiff sidewall because your custom truck is probably super heavy, right? . -while they may not be taller than standard size, they certainly APPEAR taller with such aggressive tread. -these were perfect for my Mercedes 4x4 expedition truck project, and i could see these great for a military or construction style truck as well. -you will want to make sure to get matching rear tires though, otherwise your truck won't look correct. -i am tempted to hoard a box of these in case they become hard to find, that is how strongly i feel about these.
