Unit is solid, but the outer trim is non-removable and the mounting brackets are very short, both of which may present issues in your application.
2 of 3 found this helpful The unit itself is good, not gonna break the bank or blow your mind, but it’s very capable for the price! The trim though, ugh. I had to modify the outside trim around the unit to get it to fit in my 99 Subaru Legacy. The included brackets didn’t fit, which is probably a particular issue to my car, and which started this whole thing, but I found I was able to fasten directly to the stock radio bracket. But then, the dash panel wouldn’t fit with the unit in place, that is, unless I trimmed both the outside trim of the unit, or the double-din panel that covers it. Then I had to re-drill a new mounting hole in each of the OEM side brackets to get it to orient just right. After an hour of surgical knife, file, drill, and hand-saw work, it fit great (lol) and I can install and remove the dash panel with ease. I think this would be a better fit for a different, newer car, but for my particular situation, it was p stressful taking a saw to my brand new stereo.
