Do Not Use with Built-In Flash on D-3000
0 of 1 found this helpful This lens hood works fine in natural light conditions. When I took a picture with the built-in flash on a D-3000, there was a dark half circle at the bottom of the image. Please view the attached comparison images. This was never mentioned in the product description. The lens hood was described as a perfect fit for the lens it was placed on - Nikon Lens AF-S DX 18-55mm 1:3.5-56G VR SWM Aspherical 0.28m/0.92ft ร52. This is very misleading by not revealing the fact the lens hood cannot be used with the camera's built in flash. I hope I remember to remove it when I need to shoot with the flash on!

Product Pictured is Not What I Received
The product I received is not the product that is pictured. I received a plain white basket handle. I wanted, and the product that is pictured, has the word "SLIDEOUT" printed in on the front of the handle. My wife wanted the EXACT part to be replaced. That is not what I received. We are forced to use it while I order the CORRECT PART from GE. Unhappy Wife = Unhappy Life!
