What gives?
The blue plastic on the device is too wide, which prevents it from going all the way down on the nut on a pair of Independent trucks, which is almost the standard Truck for many. You can get it down just enough to turn the nut slightly before it slips and you start stripping your nut.

Reissue Graphics Issue?
1 of 1 found this helpful Yes, I have went through five boards this month trying to find the shape that speaks to me. I found it here with this deck. Got my Ollie back yesterday (it’s been 31 years since I last popped one) but there seems to be a problem with chipping of the graphics.
I understand graphics get scuffed and scratched, but I have never had entire chunks of graphic come off at once, unless I was riding a cheap flea market board back in the day. It almost feels like the graphic wasn’t silk screened on, but rather already pre painted on the last layer of the deck.
In the end, the graphics don’t scratch, they flake off in chunks. It could be just me, but something just doesn’t feel legit with the graphics. Regardless, it’s a great deck for my needs.
