Super little rail with easy, precise adjustment.
This is the best budget macro rail I've seen so far.
Compared to the worm-drive type rails at a similar price point, this is both quicker and less tiring to adjust, but just as precise.
Compared to the cheap, commonly available geared rails, this one has the benefit of an Arca Swiss compatible lower rail and a very nicely designed Arca Swiss clamp on the top.
The angled gear track means it's possible to make really quite useful, easy adjustments even with quite a lot of weight in the clamp, and the variable friction lock on the side means you can loosen the clamp to whizz it backwards quickly, which is useful if you're doing repeated stacking operations which get tiresome very quickly with a worm drive rail!
All in all a neat little adjustable rail which, if you're doing a lot of stacking, comes in at half the price of the next most sensible option.
Thanks!

Lightweight and strong
These are really impressive. Lightweight, strong, good solid connection, and part of a wider 20mm-spacing ecosystem for making DIY rail components.

Bring an old stalwart back to life!
This is a fantastic product if you have a Nikon bellows to refurbish.
Remember to measure your existing bellows cloth carefully and supply those measurements. You may want to remove the bellows (in the case of my PB-4, through four screws on attachment plates accessible inside) and then measure them, then measure the attachment plates, add on a couple of millimetres and see if they match up.
If you get your measurements right, that is all that is involved; it's quite simple.
When you're screwing the attachment plates back into place, it might help to hold the screws in the plates temporarily with a dab of glue so you can lower the plate into position without dislodging the screws, and you may (in the case of the PB-4 in particular) want to unscrew the front standard to allow you to move it more freely.
This really is excellent work though; thoroughly recommended.
