Direct replacement plus wiring for SW6D
Replaced a 2006 SW6D with this unit on my motorhome. The electrical was easy because I put a 15amp switch and a 120v male plug with about 6 feet of #12 romex with a ground and plugged into a 15amp 120v receptacle that used to go to the battery charger. I put the switch under the sink in the bathroom. I wired it just like any circuit with a ground.
I checked current draw and with 25 feet of #12 extension cord from my rv to my house the current was a little over 11 amps.
