A well-designed latte machine at a reasonable price!
1 of 1 found this helpful This a great little latte maker! This less-expensive Delonghi has some very nice features that were missing in my previous Saeco machine. The Delonghi has a removable platform/grate that allows the use of a full-size cup instead of having to use two small cups. If you do use the platform for small cups, there's lots of room for any spills and an indicator to let you know it's time to empty it.
The filter can be used as single-shot or double-shot, and it's not necessary to bang the filter to remove the coffee puck; just shake it loose. The frothing wand works well and takes less than a minute to heat up the steam.
I accidentally ran this machine with the water reservoir dry for probably 30 minutes . . . I had it on a timer while away from the kitchen and didn't realize it was set to start brewing. After I cleaned up the mess and refilled it with water, the dried-out pump grumbled for a few seconds then primed itself. It's worked perfectly ever since . . . good quality pump!

Very shiny and fit perfectly
For the money, these shiny pieces turned out to be a great way to dress up the rear of our CX-5. Simple to attach and they stay attached.

Door-lock buttons rendered unusable
These handle covers are beautiful and very shiny; and fit well on the car. However, I was unable to use the front handle covers as the buttons that operated the door locks are recessed into the cover to the point where my finger can't press them. Anyway, I installed the covers that I could and they look great.
