Firm and comfortable.
The bed took about 4.5 minutes to fully inflate. I find it to be firm and comfortable and supportive. It seems to hold air well and remains fully inflated without need so far (2 weeks) for minor adjustments. It appears to be a quality mattress that I can recommend to others.
