Tailpiece fit well and arrive quickly.
I put it on as-is. Black. It looks good on my red Prius. It fit like a glove and was sturdy. I recommend it for your loose lift gate trim piece.

Perfect aftermarket replacement
To perfectly accommodate , I had to cut off the metal track on my drawer with a coping saw, but it worked just fine. Could also install it backwards, but this is less desirable.
