safest way to raise and lower antennas
I have a walk - around cabin it makes it safer to raise and lower the vhf and am - fm antennas from under the hard top than stand on the side of the boat to raise or lower the antennas its ideal for center consoles too

best bang for the buck
it is the side bar I needed I thought about getting a different type but I borrowed one just like this and liked it so I know this one fits and works well for me. It is not complicated plenty of adjustments not that much extra weight once the bow is balanced I should never have to adjust it
