It worked.
For some reason it wouldn't detect on my windows 7 system, but I put it in an Ubuntu 18 system and it worked fine there.

Exactly as described. Slid right into my Proliant 360 G5. Just needed some thermal paste to replace the old crusty stuff.

Very good but complicated.
This is a great switch. I haven't tested out the 10Gb ports yet. One word of caution, you need to be not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You'll be spending a while learning how this machine works. It's not plug and play at all. there are some good resources online but they assume a knowledge of working with a CLI and using another PC and a terminal program to get the thing up and running.| It took me about 3 hours to do the reading and enter the commands. It's noisy compared to a regular switch but it's not a regular switch. It is pretty incredible but the learning curve is pretty steep.
Edit: The more and more I use this thing (about 6 weeks now) the more I love it. I just got the 2 10GSFP+ ports working so now my server and my desktop are chatting at 10G. I ordered an extra 2 SFP+ ports (there's a second slot in the back) so i'll have 4 SFP+ ports for $300 Canadian and 48 regular ports. I'm thinking I want to take some networking classes so I can better understand how it works.
