Original is always better then the knockoffs.
This is an original Briggs and Stratton part and the quality is much better then knockoff parts.
It takes very little time to install and doesn't require priming. It took me less than 10 minutes to remove my old one and install this new one. Once installed, two pulls of the cord and my mower started right up and ran smooth as it did when it was new.
Mind you, you may be able to get a cheap Chinese knockoff for $15-$20 but buying buying an original part for around $40 is well worth it because it will last a lot longer.
This was well worth the price of buying an original part over that of a knockoff part.

Dorman...Best Aftermarket Parts by far,
1 of 1 found this helpful When I have to buy aftermarket parts I try to always buy Dorman parts because they are the best next to original OEM parts. Anyone that has a Toyota that uses this type handle will eventually need to be replaced the original handle. Do not replace it with one of the cheap, all metal ones you see because the rivet will not hold up under normal use and will break much sooner than the original part. Also don't waste your money buying an OEM one because its over priced will just break like the original. Your best bet is to buy the Dorman 79600 handle, it will normally last as long as the original one at a fraction of the price.
